What you'll do
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients
- assist veterinarians with appointments, procedures, surgery, and dentistry
- monitor vital signs and IV catheters
- draw blood and perform laboratory testing
- take and develop radiographs
- calculate and administer medications
- monitor anesthesia and provide postoperative care
- assist with triage and urgent care
- educate clients
- maintain medical records and a clean treatment area.
