Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist role is part-time and onsite in Austin, TX, with a schedule of Wednesdays and one or two Saturdays. Pay is $55–$60 per hour. Sonrava Health’s dental team provides preventive care and oral health education to patients. The hygienist performs preventive dental procedures, documents patient dental and periodontal health, and educates patients on oral hygiene and nutrition. The role works with dentists and office staff to support patient care and ongoing recall programs.

What you'll do

• Provide prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, and preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants
• chart dental history and periodontal health
• record treatment and protect patient records under HIPAA
• assist the dentist
• administer local anesthetics when permitted by the dental practice act.
