What you'll do

• Support and lead associate veterinarians
• guide professional development and new-graduate mentorship and training
• work with the Practice Manager on patient flow and care
• lead or assist with veterinarian meetings
• oversee medical-care concerns and related client complaints
• enforce organizational procedures and protocols
• supervise controlled-substance handling and records
• improve medical and surgical care, training protocols, and team building
• work as a full-time ER doctor with administrative time as needed
• partner on DVM scheduling and coverage
• may assist with evaluating and interviewing potential DVM hires.
