Survey Technician

Job overview

The Survey Technician works in person, based out of the New Hartford or Bristol, Connecticut area, and travels nationally by car or plane. Pay is $20–$26 per hour as listed; the description specifies a $20–$23 fielding rate and a $16 travel rate. The role collects data along telecommunications routes. The technician walks assigned routes, gathers and uploads route data using specialized equipment and applications, and coordinates daily assignments and progress with the team. The schedule is Monday through Saturday on a 4.5-weeks-on, 10-days-off rotation.

What you'll do

• Walk telecommunications routes in rural and urban areas
• use applications and specialized equipment to collect route data and meet quotas
• upload data at the end of shifts via Wi-Fi
• attend daily coordinator and end-of-shift meetings
• arrive for scheduled travel bookings
• perform other assigned duties.
