What you'll do

• Support daily program operations and compliance with Head Start standards and state childcare guidelines
• provide basic care and engage children in learning and development
• actively supervise children
• support classroom routines and social-emotional strategies
• observe development and make appropriate referrals
• individualize teaching with family assistance
• conduct educational home visits and parent-teacher conferences if needed
• communicate with families and professionals
• complete data entry and documentation
• follow health, safety, and emergency procedures.
