What you'll do
- Facilitate participant intake and eligibility assessment
- develop individualized housing plans
- help address credit, utility arrears, criminal-record, and other housing barriers
- refer participants to affordable housing
- explain housing searches, applications, and tenant rights
- provide ongoing guidance and resource connections
- coordinate lease signing, landlord negotiations, paperwork, and inspections
- build landlord and property-manager relationships
- obtain application documents with partners
- maintain participant records and document updates within 24 hours
- represent the organization at community events and landlord gatherings
- attend training and conferences.
