Job overview
The Line Cook role is onsite in Houston, TX, with compensation of $16–$19 per hour. RA Sushi’s mission is to create great guest memories. This role prepares and plates hot and cold menu items while maintaining food quality, safe handling, and a sanitary workstation. It supports efficient kitchen service by coordinating with the Lead Line Cook and timing production to meal service.
What you'll do
- Prepare and portion grilled, broiled, fried, sautéed, hot, and cold food items using standardized recipes
- plate and garnish dishes
- plan production around meal service
- follow sanitation and food-handling standards
- monitor inventory and report equipment or sanitation issues
- coordinate orders with the Lead Line Cook
- keep the workstation and equipment clean.
