What you'll do

• Observe and document field activities
• sample, test, and inspect soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement
• use field screening equipment and document readings
• read maps and construction plans
• communicate with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• drive a company vehicle and complete assigned jobs. Daily travel to construction sites, generally within 100 miles of the home office
• overtime and occasional Saturdays or weekends may be required.
