Senior Earth Observation Engineer

What you'll do

• Work with customers to derive mission and payload requirements and verification techniques
• drive optical payload supplier development and testing
• develop ground and in-orbit test and calibration strategies with AIT and OPS teams
• develop onboard and ground data-processing strategy
• support mission CONOPS and business development
• participate in test procedures, integration, test campaigns, launch, and in-orbit commissioning
• and contribute to and own development of the Earth observation roadmap. The role requires five or more years of space systems engineering experience on Earth observation missions, familiarity with image-quality metrics, imagery calibration and optical payloads, and at least one year of Python coding.
