The Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift position is onsite in McGregor, IA. Compensation is $40–$42.50 per hour, with additional shift differentials described in the posting. Great River Care Center’s nursing team provides resident care in a care-center setting. The nurse oversees and evaluates direct resident care, conducts rounds, responds to resident needs and emergencies, and supervises CNA care. The role supports continuity, safety, and quality of care by communicating with residents, families, physicians, and other nurses and following facility nursing standards and policies.

What you'll do

• Follow nursing practice standards and facility policies
• interpret policies for resident care technicians, residents, families, and physicians
• supervise and evaluate direct resident care
• receive and provide shift reports
• conduct resident rounds and report problems
• respond to resident problems and emergencies
• identify safety hazards
• supervise and evaluate implementation of residents’ rights
• provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
