The Billboard Installation Technician role is an onsite, full-time position based in Arden, NC, with the Lamar office serving Asheville and surrounding areas. Pay is $21 per hour. The role supports Lamar’s Operations crew in bringing outdoor advertising campaigns to life. The technician installs and maintains billboard advertisements and structures, helping keep displays in service for local businesses and national brands. The work combines installation, construction upkeep, and safety-focused maintenance, often performed independently.

What you'll do

• Install and remove billboard flexes and vinyls
• prepare materials and install copies on Tri-Visions. Build and install billboard extensions
• perform construction upkeep, storm-damage repairs, minor electrical repairs, and grounds cleanup. Use power and manual tools safely, maintain vehicles and equipment, attend required safety meetings, and document completed installations with photos. Work outdoors and at heights
• on-call shifts may be required.
