The role owns electrical systems from design through commissioning and energization, helping deliver safe, reliable power infrastructure. It also serves as Engineer of Record for power-system studies and works with construction teams to resolve field issues and assess designs.

What you'll do

• Design electrical systems including utility interconnects, substations, switchgear, generators, UPS, and power distribution
• serve as Engineer of Record for one-lines, protection coordination, short-circuit and arc-flash studies
• resolve construction field issues and oversee work through commissioning and energization
• assess cost, constructability, redundancy, and third-party designs while maintaining safety and reliability.

Why this role

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license and 7+ years designing electrical systems for data centers, industrial, or other mission-critical facilities are required. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower is sought.
