Job overview

The Electrical Estimator role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX; compensation is $70,000–$90,000 per year plus bonus eligibility. The opportunity is with a large Texas open-shop electrical contractor serving commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional customers. The estimator converts drawings and specifications into accurate, competitive bids for commercial electrical projects up to $1 million. By coordinating with clients, vendors, engineers, and field supervision, the role supports project selection, cost planning, and reliable delivery.

What you'll do

• Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor
• prepare estimates for commercial electrical projects up to $1 million
• consult with clients, vendors, and field supervision
• prepare estimates used to select vendors and subcontractors
• review self-perform versus subcontract decisions
• prepare project cost and expenditure statements
• maintain supplier and contractor directories.
