The role leads classroom instruction and helps build the systems, curriculum, and culture of a growing school. Through culturally responsive teaching, project-based learning, collaboration with families and colleagues, and ongoing reflection, the assistant teacher supports student growth and the school’s educational goals.

What you'll do

• Facilitate rigorous, culturally responsive instruction across core subjects, social-emotional learning, and real-world project-based learning
• collaborate on unit planning and assessment analysis
• partner with students and families on Learning Partnership Plans
• communicate with families about student progress at least monthly
• support identity-affirming culture and restorative practices
• participate in professional learning, coaching, and school-wide initiatives.

Why this role
