Donation Center Attendant and Processor

The Donation Center Attendant and Processor works onsite in Harrisburg, SD. Pay is $15 per hour. The role supports Goodwill of the Great Plains’ donation and merchandise-processing operations. The attendant receives donated goods, provides courteous service to donors, sorts and prices merchandise, and moves materials to assigned areas. The work helps prepare saleable donations for store operations and ensures unsaleable items are handled appropriately.

What you'll do

• Receive donations respectfully and safely
• thank donors and offer donation receipts
• follow store donation protocols
• inform donors when items cannot be accepted
• sort saleable and unsaleable goods
• price merchandise according to store strategies
• meet assigned processing goals
• move materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, stackers, or a forklift after certification
• may test electrical merchandise or computer components
• dispose of unsaleable items appropriately
• maintain a clean and safe work area.
