The Seasonal Lightscape Venue Manager role is onsite in New York, NY, for an 11-week, 40-hour-per-week seasonal assignment that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $42 per hour. The role supports Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Public Programs department and its annual Lightscape winter event. The manager helps oversee daily site operations for the one-mile trail of light and sound installations, coordinating the event with Garden operations. The role helps keep the route and venue ready, supports event operations and public needs, and ensures the Garden returns to its daily setup after each event night.

What you'll do

• Assist with load-in and technical setup
• liaise between event crews and Garden operations
• coordinate with Security, Custodial, Visitor Services, Maintenance, retail, and food and beverage teams
• work with event and production managers to maintain the route
• coordinate ancillary events
• attend daily briefings
• assist with front-of-house operations
• respond to public needs
• prepare end-of-day reports
• restore the Garden to its daily operations setup.
