What you'll do

• Safely and promptly transport patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items using appropriate equipment
• secure patients and associated lines and tubes
• demonstrate competency transporting specified age groups
• communicate with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, reception, and dispatch
• attend to patient comfort and modesty
• alert nursing staff to distress or equipment malfunction
• maintain equipment and report repair needs
• and follow regulatory standards, confidentiality requirements, and patient-rights policies. Prior patient-facing experience and the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items are required.
