The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) role is onsite in Austin, TX, at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, with a day shift from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and rotating weekends. Compensation is $2,109 per hour. The nurse supports the Emergency Services department, which cares for emergency, cardiac, trauma, and behavioral health patients.
What you'll do
- Provide emergency nursing care and assist with procedures including splinting, EKGs, trauma assistance, central-line procedures, airway support, behavioral-health de-escalation, rapid infuser use, and resuscitation. Required certifications are ACLS, BLS, CPI, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
- MEDITECH, trauma, and inpatient-holding experience are preferred.
