Concrete Layout Surveyor

The Concrete Layout Surveyor works onsite on projects across the Colorado Front Range and Mountain Region; pay is $80,000–$110,000 per year. Shaw Construction’s Self Perform Concrete and Framing operations support large, complex commercial projects. The role performs layout, staking, formwork verification, and quality checks while supporting estimating and construction close-out, coordinating with project teams and trades to help maintain accurate project execution.

What you'll do

• Perform concrete layout, staking, formwork verification, project layout, and quality checks
• calculate points and load Trimble stations
• set control using AutoCAD
• coordinate embed, hold-down, and penetration layout
• support quantity take-offs and constructability reviews
• coordinate lift drawings and formwork planning
• conduct field inspections
• document quality issues
• train and mentor team members as needed.
