What you'll do

• Develop project budgets and calculate total project costs
• prepare bids and cost estimates
• analyze blueprints and project documents to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor
• develop subcontractor scopes of work
• obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors
• analyze subcontractor quotes
• track historical project data for conceptual estimates
• check estimate accuracy
• prepare general conditions scopes
• estimate labor, materials, and equipment
• revise estimates for addenda or changes
• review estimates with the Chief Estimator.
