The CT Technologist must be able to cross-train into other modalities and assist with specimen collection and quality control.

What you'll do

• Perform CT procedures in a timely manner.
• Document required information and communicate pertinent information to physicians and direct care staff.
• Coordinate and assist in the care of patients assigned in collaboration with other CT technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
• Evaluate patient condition to adequately perform CT exams.
• Inform and explain procedure to be performed to patients and what is expected in terms of their cooperation.
• Provide comprehensive direct patient care and assure a safe and comforting environment.
• Consult with other staff as necessary to meet the needs of the patient and family.
• Assure that the necessary clinical equipment and supplies are available and are safely utilized.
• Possess the knowledge of growth and development of patients across the life span.
• Perform Point of Care procedures in a timely manner according to established policy and procedure.

What we're looking for

Education

Associate Degree and graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program

Experience

At minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist
