Lead Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Lead Restoration Technician role is onsite in Pompano Beach, FL, with compensation of $22–$27 per hour. DRYmedic provides water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire damage restoration, and emergency restoration services in South Florida. This working-lead role performs restoration work alongside a crew while coordinating job-site activity. It helps ensure mitigation and remediation projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.

What you'll do

• Lead and work alongside restoration crews
• perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, containment, and mold remediation
• assess moisture and monitor drying
• set up and operate drying and air-scrubbing equipment
• assign tasks and maintain crew productivity
• train junior technicians
• maintain moisture logs, equipment records, notes, and photos
• communicate progress and concerns to Project Managers
• maintain clean job sites and equipment
• follow IICRC, OSHA, and company procedures
• participate in rotating after-hours and weekend emergency response schedules.
