Job overview

The School-Age Teacher and Bus Driver role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Pay is $15–$20 per hour. The Sunshine House provides early education and childcare for children from six weeks to 12 years old. The role supports children’s learning and safety by implementing curriculum, fostering an inclusive environment, sharing milestones with families, and transporting children to and from schools and field trips.

What you'll do

• Implement curriculum to meet children’s learning styles
• foster relationships and a safe, inclusive learning environment
• document and share milestones with families through an app
• model developmentally appropriate social behavior
• safely transport children to and from area elementary schools and field trips
• complete safety checks and drills.

Why this role

A commercial driver’s license is not required to drive the 14-passenger minibus. Previous licensed childcare teaching experience and BSAC training are required.
