.NET Developer, Quality Assurance

Job overview

The .NET Developer, Quality Assurance role is onsite in Albany, NY. Pay is $55.48–$60.48 per hour. The role works with the .NET Development team on quality assurance for existing and new applications, including utility assessment, telecommunications, pipeline audit, document and matter management, and enforcement support systems. The consultant helps ensure software products meet established quality standards by testing requirements, evaluating results, identifying defects, and investigating user issues. The work also supports application performance, documentation, and user acceptance testing.

What you'll do

• Monitor and inspect applications and propose quality improvements. Make software and system design recommendations
• investigate user complaints and product issues
• manage defects
• identify web application performance issues
• maintain user, technical, and process documentation
• develop test plans, scenarios, and cases
• evaluate test results
• identify technical and functional defects
• perform unit and integration testing
• assist with UAT and user training
• and use TFS to track backlog items and bugs.
