Activity Aide — Long-Term Care, Day Shift

The Activity Aide role is onsite in Holland, OH, with pay of $12.50 per hour. The position is with Genacross Wolf Creek Long Term Care, part of a faith-based nonprofit serving individuals, families, and communities. The aide helps residents participate in activities and social programs that support emotional, spiritual, recreational, and social well-being. The role also provides individual engagement, helps residents get to activities and outings, and communicates relevant changes to nursing staff.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, implementing, and leading daily activities and events
• encourage participation in group programs, hobbies, crafts, outings, and religious activities
• provide one-on-one engagement, including for bedridden residents when needed
• transport residents to activities, appointments, and field trips, including driving the activities bus as needed
• maintain schedules, supplies, and program resources
• observe and report changes in resident conditions
• communicate with residents, families, and team members
• follow confidentiality, safety, emergency, and reporting procedures.
