What you'll do

• Complete preventive-maintenance work orders
• help develop maintenance programs for sawmill machinery, waste and dust collection systems, yard equipment, compressors, and buildings
• initiate purchasing of consumable parts
• weld and fabricate using MIG and stick welding
• assemble and install equipment
• troubleshoot and repair defective parts
• adjust clearances and align components
• learn to operate sawmill equipment
• travel to company locations as needed.
