What you'll do

• Collect patient demographic and insurance information, verify benefits, and obtain signatures on ER consent forms
• enter patient information into EHR and billing software and scan signed documents and reports
• maintain and file records as required
• provide medical records to other providers when authorized
• log payments and cash receipts and maintain the cash drawer
• keep accurate payment and payer information for billing.
