Material Prep Technician — 1st Shift

What you'll do

• Use grinders, sanders, and hand tools to smooth welds and remove sharp edges
• inspect parts and correct surface imperfections or contaminants
• clean parts with air hoses, wash bays, cloths, and solvents
• coordinate with fabrication, paint, and quality control teams
• maintain tools
• follow safety procedures and use PPE
• stage materials and maintain an organized work area.
