Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Prepare charts and exam rooms
• assist physicians with patient care, including casting and bracing
• take vital signs, prepare injections, complete health-history questionnaires, and facilitate suture removals and dressing changes
• support patient education and orders as directed
• maintain records in the EMR
• coordinate clinic schedules and records
• restock supplies and sterilize instruments
• assist with triage, calls, prior authorizations, and patient communications
• travel to other locations as needed. Phlebotomy assistance applies if certified.
