What you'll do

• Prepare estimates for full-building, structural, and commercial demolition
• review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements
• perform takeoffs and attend site walks and pre-bid meetings
• develop sequencing, means and methods, manpower, equipment, and durations
• estimate trucking, hauling, disposal, recycling, and material-handling costs
• evaluate access, hazards, and logistical constraints
• solicit and review subcontractor and vendor pricing
• identify scope gaps, risks, exclusions, and clarifications
• prepare proposals and project turnovers
• compare estimated costs and production with actual results
• maintain estimating records and historical cost information.

Why this role
