What you'll do

• Assess illness and injury and provide interventions and follow-up
• identify and evaluate student health concerns
• explain health status to parents and school personnel
• initiate referrals and facilitate follow-up
• plan school health services and delegate procedures consistent with the NC Nurse Practice Act
• provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
