What you'll do

• Install, maintain, and repair ship propulsion and auxiliary systems, including steam, gas turbine, and diesel systems
• service rudders, steering gear, elevators, and deck equipment
• repair pumps, compressors, purifiers, heat exchangers, actuators, and valves
• inspect and repair outboard motors
• test equipment against specifications and drawings
• use precision measuring equipment.
