Part-Time School Executive Cook

The Part-Time School Executive Cook role is onsite in Columbia, MO. Compensation is $15–$25 per hour. The cook supports Children's House Montessori by preparing organic, nutritious meals for children. The role exists to plan and prepare child-friendly meals that meet state child-meal nutrition requirements, while maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and supporting the school's meal service.

What you'll do

• Shop for ingredients and create weekly menus
• prepare morning snacks, lunch, and afternoon snacks in a timely manner
• clean and sanitize dishes and silverware
• maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health and safety requirements
• monitor food stock, order ingredients, check freshness, discard expired items, and suggest recipes or ingredients.
