Dietary Aide

What you'll do

• Assist with food functions under established policies
• prepare or deliver items for medication passes
• set up resident meal trays according to specified diets
• prepare and place food items on trays
• deliver and retrieve meal trays
• wash and put away dishware
• clean and sanitize work areas
• respond to requests from nursing staff and residents
• assist the cook when needed
• make authorized food substitutions
• help prepare special meals
• maintain food supplies and storage areas
• report hazards, incidents, and resident complaints or abuse allegations as directed.
