The Buyer — Manufacturing Supply Chain role is an onsite position in Concord, NC. Compensation is not specified. The buyer procures production materials and other supplies, equipment, and services to support production schedules and customer forecasts. The role manages purchasing plans, supplier coordination, inventory levels, and purchasing records to help ensure materials are available when needed and purchasing procedures are followed.

What you'll do

• Maintain ERP master data for parts and assemblies
• coordinate sales orders and forecast data
• generate purchasing plans and orders
• support vendor qualification and material substitutions
• maintain purchase-order records
• communicate stock-out risks and options
• reduce excess and obsolete inventory
• publish purchasing plans
• coordinate receipts and billing with warehouse, accounting, and suppliers
• procure materials for product development and launches
• support cycle counts and inventory activities
• recommend process improvements.

Why this role

ERP supply-chain experience required; Epicor is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or a high school diploma/GED with relevant purchasing or production-scheduling experience.
