Safety and Compliance Advisor

The Safety and Compliance Advisor role is onsite in Schuylkill Haven, PA, with a Monday–Friday schedule and hours to be determined within 7:00 AM–6:00 PM. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Evans Delivery’s owner-operator drivers and transportation operations. The advisor monitors safety and compliance performance, coaches drivers, coordinates corrective actions and training, and works with internal teams to address risks. The position helps promote safe driving, hours-of-service compliance, accurate documentation, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary safety contact for assigned independent owner-operator drivers
• evaluate safety and compliance performance and risks
• coach drivers and set improvement expectations
• select or recommend remedial training, corrective action, monitoring, and follow-up
• apply driver eligibility standards
• maintain records in company systems
• investigate assigned safety matters
• analyze driver and fleet safety data
• advise internal stakeholders
• participate in safety reviews and process-improvement initiatives.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in driver coaching or compliance guidance, communicating performance concerns, and supporting operations across multiple locations. Transportation safety experience, DOT/FMCSA knowledge, and Motive or similar platform experience are preferred.
