The Substitute Teacher – Forest Preschool role is onsite in South Burlington, VT, with pay of $18–$21 per hour. Hours and shifts vary, covering full days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., mornings from 8 a.m. to noon, or afternoons from noon to 4 p.m. The role supports Old School’s nature-based preschool for children ages 2–5. The substitute teacher helps maintain a safe, engaging learning environment by assisting with curriculum activities, supporting children’s development and transitions, and following center policies and state regulations. The school’s classrooms are outdoors as much as indoors, with access to forest learning space.
