Job overview
The Dialysis Patient Care Technician is an onsite role based in Mission, TX. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the U.S. Renal Care team in providing high-quality dialysis treatment to patients with kidney disease. This role exists to provide safe and comfortable care to patients undergoing hemodialysis. The technician works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse to monitor patients, manage equipment, and ensure all safety protocols are followed during treatment.
What you'll do
- Gather patient vital signs, initiate and terminate dialysis treatments, monitor patients during treatment, collect blood samples, prepare and disinfect hemodialysis machines, conduct safety checks, and maintain accurate logs.
