The Certified TLL Crane Operator - Field Crew role is onsite, based in Columbia, KY, with nationwide project travel required up to 75% of the time. Compensation is not specified. Phillips Tank & Structure works on nationwide tank repair and construction projects involving industrial storage tanks and related structures. The operator supports construction and repair crews by setting up and operating cranes, moving materials safely, and inspecting equipment. When crane operations are not underway, the role also supports other field responsibilities, helping crews complete project work safely and effectively.

What you'll do

• Operate and set up cranes according to job requirements and site conditions
• perform daily equipment and safety inspections
• move materials according to plans and schedules
• monitor crane stability and load weights
• coordinate with signal personnel and ground crews
• perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical concerns
• maintain records of material and equipment movement
• keep travel and lift paths clear and safe
• assist with cleanup, fire watch, confined-space attendant duties, and general crew support when crane operations are not in progress.
