The Assistant Property Manager role is onsite in Lewiston, ME, supporting properties across the Lewiston–Auburn area. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour. Simplified Management manages multifamily and mixed-use properties in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, with a focus on operations, tenant satisfaction, and asset performance. The assistant supports the Property Manager with daily portfolio operations, tenant relations, leasing coordination, inspections, maintenance tracking, and administrative follow-through. The work helps keep units ready, records organized, and tenant and applicant needs addressed across the Maine portfolio.

What you'll do

• Visit properties to inspect conditions, oversee contractors, and address tenant concerns
• manage move-ins, move-outs, and unit readiness
• list and market vacant units
• respond to rental inquiries
• schedule and conduct showings
• process rental applications for Property Manager approval
• assist with housing and city inspections
• support lease renewals and tenant notices
• maintain records and reports
• assist with lease and community policy enforcement
• contribute to operational efficiency.
