Industrial Maintenance Technician II — 2nd Shift

The Industrial Maintenance Technician II role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, IA. Compensation is not specified. This role maintains manufacturing machinery and related equipment so plant operations can run safely and reliably. The technician diagnoses and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC issues and performs routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and correct problems with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components and PLCs
• perform scheduled, emergency, routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance
• maintain and repair motorized equipment
• operate manlifts and forklifts and complete forklift safety checks
• identify and order parts and coordinate inventory
• maintain grinders and sharpen blades
• fabricate metal parts and weld as required
• perform electrical and facility repairs
• keep work logs
• train maintenance and plant associates
• respond to on-call emergencies as needed.
