Equipment Engineer

Job overview

The Equipment Engineer works onsite in Biddeford, ME. Compensation is $80,000–$125,000 per year, dependent on experience. The role supports research and technology equipment ownership and the client’s manufacturing process, including translating lab-scale processes into scalable equipment designs.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with Facilities, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, Security, and IT on new R&T equipment
• represent R&T in equipment selection, specification, and commissioning
• contribute to health, safety, and environmental controls
• participate in IQ/OQ/PQ protocols
• translate lab-scale processes into scalable manufacturing equipment
• apply design-for-manufacturability principles
• develop SOPs and support preventive maintenance schedules
• contribute to manufacturing methods, engineering standards, risk analyses, technical reports, and compliance.

Why this role
