Machine Operator — Day Shift

Job overview

The Machine Operator role is onsite in Roanoke, VA, with pay of $18–$20 per hour. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The production team makes precious-metal products for the jewelry industry at John C. Nordt, a LeachGarner brand. The operator sets up and runs production machines and melting furnaces, adjusts settings, checks output, addresses issues during the shift, records activity, and maintains a clean and safe work area. The role supports consistent production of quality precious-metal products.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate manual production machines and melting furnaces
• adjust machine settings
• feed raw material
• straighten and trim tubing with hand tools and specified equipment
• inspect output for flaws
• address shift issues
• maintain activity logs and a clean, safe work area.
