The Controller leads day-to-day accounting operations and develops scalable financial processes as the organization grows through expansion and acquisitions. The role oversees reporting, controls, audits, systems, and accounting staff while partnering with operations and executive leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and GAAP-compliant reporting
• oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal compliance, and accounting systems
• direct accounting operations, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• maintain internal controls and standardized processes
• oversee ASC 842, fixed assets, and consolidated reporting
• lead external audits
• support acquisitions and integrations
• drive ERP implementations and process improvements
• partner with operations and executives
• lead and develop the accounting organization.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading an accounting function as a Controller or comparable leader. CPA and/or MBA is a plus. The organization operates across multiple entities and 23 states.
