The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Clinton Township, MI, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour. The posting describes a contract position with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Tuesday 8:45 AM–7:15 PM; and Friday 8:00 AM–2:30 PM. The role supports provider-directed patient examinations and treatment. The assistant helps providers and registered nurses with clinical duties, patient intake, vital signs, charting, and treatment-room preparation. The role also supports basic records and supply management, with phlebotomy skills, patient care, medication administration, vaccine knowledge, BLS, and medical assistant certification required.

What you'll do

• Assist with provider-ordered treatments under provider or registered nurse supervision
• interview patients, measure vital signs, and record chart information
• prepare examination rooms
• perform basic clerical duties
• order and stock supplies and maintain a clean environment
• may document provider encounters and transcribe patient orders
• follow standard precautions and use required PPE.
