Client Support Associate — Swing Shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM)

The Client Support Associate role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with a swing shift of 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Pay is $21–$24 per hour. First Step Communities’ Stockton Safe Stay program supports adults experiencing homelessness and aims to connect clients with resources and services. The associate monitors and directs clients around the campus, supports safe facility operations, and helps clients access services. Through check-in support, conflict resolution, meal service, and clear incident documentation, the role contributes to a safe and supportive shelter environment.

What you'll do

• Monitor and direct clients around the campus
• facilitate transitions from intake to shelter or cabins and provide facility tours
• check clients and visitors in and out
• maintain safety watch and lead conflict resolution when intervention is needed
• assist clients
• escalate suspected abuse or neglect
• help clients access stored possessions and process exits
• distribute meals and donations
• clean shelter beds, cabins, and facilities
• write daily activity logs and incident reports.
