Senior Information Security Specialist

The Senior Information Security Specialist is an onsite role in Orlando, FL, with compensation of $100,000–$130,000 per year. Link Solutions delivers information technology services to government clients supporting critical mission needs; this role supports the South East Region Cyberspace Support Center. The role leads cybersecurity operations and authorization work to protect mission-critical Army and Department of Defense systems. It strengthens security posture and reduces risk through Risk Management Framework implementation, vulnerability management, compliance, continuous monitoring, and collaboration with government stakeholders and technical teams.

What you'll do

• Lead Risk Management Framework implementation and security authorization efforts
• advise government stakeholders and technical teams
• develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures
• lead vulnerability remediation and POA&M management
• conduct assessments, compliance reviews, and risk analyses
• manage authorization packages and ATO/IATT lifecycle activities
• oversee continuous monitoring
• validate security controls against NIST, DoD, Army, and federal requirements
• prepare reporting and executive briefings
• support COOP planning, audits, and inspections
• mentor junior cybersecurity personnel.
