The Special Education Teacher – Autism is an onsite, full-time position in Mesquite, TX, paying $40 per hour starting pay. What you'll do

• Collaborate with the Admission, Review, and Dismissal committee to develop and implement individualized education programs
• provide differentiated instruction in inclusion classrooms and resource rooms
• collect and analyze progress data
• collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and families
• participate in ARD meetings
• implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies
• provide accommodations and modifications for students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in special education, education, or a related field and valid Texas Educator Certification in Special Education EC–12. Knowledge of IDEA and the ARD process is required; CPR certification and bilingual skills are preferred.
