Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Technician

The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Technician role is onsite in Winchester, VA. Compensation is $26 per hour. The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is a physician-owned orthopaedics practice with more than 60 locations. The technician manages clinic durable medical equipment and helps patients receive and use prescribed braces, mobility aids, and other devices. The role supports clinical staff and surgical patients through equipment fitting, education, inventory coordination, and clinic readiness.

What you'll do

• Fit patients with braces, ambulatory aids, and other ordered devices
• coordinate equipment for surgical patients
• teach patients how to apply, remove, and care for dispensed equipment
• maintain DME inventory and coordinate orders
• keep staff informed about documentation and process changes
• stock examination rooms and support clinical staff.
