Sunshine Academy’s lead teacher implements developmentally appropriate curriculum and supports children, families, and classroom staff. The teacher leads classroom care and learning, supervises assistant teachers and floaters, and maintains safety, licensing compliance, records, and positive relationships. The role supports children’s development through consistent routines, guidance, and curriculum adapted to their needs.

What you'll do

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum

• maintain child-to-teacher ratios and safety protocols
• support toileting and hygiene
• document attendance, incidents, and behaviors
